Come Learn How to Needlepoint! Our shop teacher, Ginny Johnston, will lead this fun class that introduces you to this creative past-time. We will help you select your own canvas and threads and get you started on your needlepoint project or bring a canvas you already have. If you need to purchase a canvas, please come prior to the class and purchase in advance. We are open M-W-F and Saturdays. Canvases and threads are sold separately. The class will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 pm on Tuesday, April 7, 2026 at the shop. This class is for adults and is limited to 10 participants. Class fee is $40 per student. All classes are non-refundable.

This beginner-friendly event is perfect for anyone new to the game or a newer player. You’ll learn the essential rules so you can play confidently—no prior experience required. Just bring your enthusiasm and a readiness to have fun!

Tuxedo Cat Stitches will be at Magic City Needlepoint from 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm for mini sessions (check available dates and times when you click to purchase). Bring your own canvas and Cathy will brainstorm threads and stitches with you. This session will get you stitching on that canvas from your stash. $30 per mini session. Mini sessions are great for ornaments. For larger or more complex canvases, the mini session will get you started. Click on the link above to view dates and times. PLEASE NOTE: If you are signing up for to learn needlepoint for the first time, please book 2 sessions (60 minutes minimum). Basic needlepoint stitches cannot be taught in 30 minutes. Once registered, all lessons are non-refundable.
